Skomer Puffins Tour & Workshops
Skomer Island is one of the most important seabird colonies in the UK, boasting the worlds largest concentration of breeding Manx Shearwater and many other species. Despite this, the island is best known for it’s Puffins and the ability to get up close and personal with these incredible and charismatic birds. Join me on a day trip or two night tour to photograph the vast array of wildlife this island has to offer.
What to expect
As the evening descends and the day visitors depart from the island, we are some of the very few fortunate enough to spend the night on the island. Puffins, Rabbits, Manx Shearwater, Oystercatchers, Reptiles and Choughs are frequently seen at this time of the year along with Short Eared Owls & Seals.
All levels of experience welcome
From complete beginners to seasoned professionals, you will receive support tailored around your individual requirements. Whether it’s settings, composition, fieldcraft or even post processing, I’m on hand throughout the tour to provide this support.

What have people said?
Andrew – Your knowledge of photography and wildlife is very impressive, but your efforts to ensure everyone gets something from the day and learns something is also most welcome. I’ve done a number of photography workshops, albeit only one wildlife related (at a safari park – it was honestly not very good); its surprising how few photographers running workshops put in the same amount of effort as you. I would certainly recommend you. See more testimonials here…
